OUR PARTNERS
Bethesda Transformation Center Inc, located in a beautiful setting surrounded by Rocks State Park in Harford County, is a faith-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that brings the whole truth and healing in the name of Jesus to women suffering from addiction. This mission is completely staffed by volunteers and operates exclusively from community donations.
Helping Up Mission is a community of hope in Greater Baltimore that helps local men and women who are fighting addiction and homelessness discover real hope – often for the first time in years – and rebuild their lives. They are dedicated to transforming the lives of and restoring hope to those suffering from addiction and poverty by harnessing the power of faith, science, and community. Their programs meet urgent needs (safe shelter, meals, stability) while also providing Christ-centered, clinically informed, long-term recovery that addresses the root causes of addiction and homelessness. Recover With Me is honored to partner with Helping Up Mission to support men and women as they graduate and transition into lasting freedom. Through our three-legged approach - Scripture, Support, and Sponsorship - we help ensure that alumni don’t leave the program and walk alone. We provide Life Recovery Bibles, workbooks, and a curriculum for them to continue their walk with God in their recovery journey. As a valued partner, Recover With Me also provides Life Recovery Bibles to Helping Up Mission residents - because God’s Word is a foundation people can return to when life gets loud, triggers resurface, and discouragement tries to creep in. Helping Up Mission serves approximately 500 men at their mission campus, and as many as 575 men can be on campus at any given time. They also have 50 beds allocated for Emergency Overnight guests. In addition, their Center for Women & Children is built with room for up to 200 women and 50 children. That means the need is significant. To help ensure every resident can have their own Life Recovery Bible, the on-hand demand alone can easily reach 700+ Bibles (and more as new residents enter and alumni graduate and take their Bible with them).
